Our history – Aon Solutions Ltd  

The bulk of the actuarial work in Mauritius has been the production of actuarial valuations and pension accounting disclosures in line with IAS 19 since its adoption as a national standard by Mauritius in 2001 (5 years earlier than most European countries). The Mauritian office has developed a wealth of experience in dealing with curtailments, settlements, acquisitions and divestitures under IAS 19, FAS 87 or FRS 17. We have developed many employee benefit programs and provide advice in the healthcare management field including advice for provident funds. We advise most of the top 100 companies in Mauritius.

We offer a broad range of investment consultancy services including: scheme governance; developing investment principles; strategic asset allocation modelling and optimisation; risk management; investment manager mandates; manager selection and review; investment performance and asset manager monitoring; general advice and training workshops. We do not act as asset managers, offer individual stock selection or deal directly in the market for our clients. Nor do we act as a broker or tied agent to any investment house or financial institution. We are not fully or partially owned (directly or indirectly) by any other Mauritian business or institution.

As actuarial and investment consultants we integrate our knowledge and  understanding of the funds’ cash flow, liability profile, asset profile, risk appetite and funding requirements to ensure a holistic approach to advising both the Company and Trustees.
